"Emerging at the other end, we will not be the same as we were, we will have become more humble, more connected to the natural world, fitter, leaner, more skilled and ultimately, wiser."
--Rob Hopkins, Originator of the Transition Town Movement
Choosing a Midwife
Choosing a caregiver must take into account the parents' needs and expectations. Midwives have managed the process of normal, uncomplicated birth for centuries.
Midwifery is a profession that requires one to be an ever-learning student—it demands one to be available as a teacher, healer, counselor, friend and confidant for every woman served.
I am an advocate for the natural process and dignity of pregnancy, birth and parenting. I work toward the common goal of a safe birth with little or no intervention. Contact me for more information.
